Last week's Papertrey mid-week challenge was an awesome sketch and I finally got a chance to try it. I love the sketch - it's tough to see in this picture, but it's a window card, so the onesie is stamped on the inside and shows through the ovals cut out of the front. This confirmed for me though that I NEED some Nestabilities. I used my Coluzzle for this and was reminded of how much I hate it! I had wanted to use my giga scallop oval and mega regular oval punches, but they didn't reach to the middle of the card, which was why I was forced to go the Coluzzle route. In retrospect, I should have stamped some kind of background on the bashful blue base, but all in all, I like how it turned out!
Supplies
Stamps: Itty Bitty Blessings by Papertrey
Ink: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy
Paper: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Papertrey White
Other: Coluzzle, Silver Bells dew drops, clear Spica pen (for tracing the onesie and "coloring" in the sailboat)
I love this Jess. Perfect baby card and super cool sketch!!!
