From the Archives

When I started this "post every day" resolution, the intention was to get me stamping a lot more. And so far, it's worked. Except today. I sat down to stamp last night and ended up playing with my Copics and some adorable Lily images from Pink Cat Studio that my friend Colleen sent to me. I apparently had too much fun coloring, so I never actually got a full card made! So off to my computer archives I went to find a card that's not new, but new to my blog.

I made this card about two years ago for my friend Jenn's birthday and she told me recently that it's her favorite card I've ever made for her. She has a beach day for her birthday every year, so this card was just perfect for the occasion!

Here in Connecticut we had a beautiful weekend, but then the temps dipped by about 30 degrees and it was a gray and rainy day. So I thought this was a fun card to brighten things up a bit! I pretty much live at the beach during the summer, so Beachabella remains one of my favorite stamps ever and I can't wait for beach season to arrive!

Supplies
Stamps: Beachabella image and birthday sentiment from Stamping Bella
Ink: Black Staz-on, SU Green Galore, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa
Paper: SU white, Pumpkin Pie, Green Galore, patterned paper from TAC
Other: SU grosgrain, white gel pen (for polka dots on bikini), ticket corner punch
