Purple?

I very rarely reach for purple in my card making, but I was trying to use my trip to Texas to bust out of the rut I was in and I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out. It actually is not at all what I planned, but when I was stamping the pattern down the side, I didn't get a clear impression in the center, so that's why I need the horizontal strip to cover it up!
Supplies
Stamps: PTI Background Basics: Retro, PTI Birthday Basics
Ink: Plum Pudding
Paper: PTI white, Lavendar Moon, Plum Pudding
Other: SU scallop edge punch, paper piercing tool, flower gems from Kaiser crafts
